Rebecca Cole is a professional sewer and budding TV personality, and needed a one-page landing page from which to sell pre-orders of her new book, All Access Sewing. We decided that WordPress was the better option for Becky, as it would enable the site expand as and when she needed it to as her business continues to thrive. Becky is passionate about making sewing accessible and inclusive, so her website had to be the same. Users are able to alter the text size to suit their needs, we used a sans-serif font for easy reading, including alt-text on all images and all colour combos checked for contrast in line with accessibility guidelines.
*Update April 2024 – as planned, we expanded Becky’s site from a landing page to a full e-commerce store and blog.
Rebecca needed a website up and running in a short space of time, that was accessible for the target audience of her debut book, focusing on accessible sewing.
I built Rebecca a landing page where she could get her book on sale for pre-orders ASAP, and ready be turned into a full ecommerce store at a later date. I added scalable text and followed accessibility best-practise to make the site as accessible as possible.

Abi was really helpful and supportive. Was able to get my page up and running with a very tight deadline.
